THE FUND RAISER UPDATE ! THANK YOU, WOW
I AM COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED BY THE OUTPOURING OF YOUR LOVE!!
The Saturday April 5th fund raiser picnic was a great success!! Over 400 people came and went all day long and $3500.00 was raised that day with cash and checks. SINCE THEN, $500.00 HAS COME IN. Several staff members donated PTO time which I can use as paid time off while I am away to Bangkok and with recovery time. Saturday was a beautiful day even though the news said there would be rain, there was a good breeze which kept us from being too hot, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. I think God had the day all planned out so that love could be shared, shown, spread, and received! One of the greatest gifts that we can receive in life is to learn to accept being loved and showing and giving love.
The food was great thanks to so many who were cooking, cleaning, and organizing all the events of the day. Lots of fun and lots of people coming to visit and talk and wish and pray for my well being. I could not even begin to share what the day meant to me, the full impact of it hasn't completely sunk in yet. I know that this expression of giving and love will have a lasting legacy and enrichment which will leave me and my family and all those I interact with richer, better, and brighter. Thanks so much for making my goal a reality. Sincerely grateful and deeply moved within my heart. Michael Rumble

To our dear Pastor Mike-
ReplyDeleteI want to let you know that you have impacted many many lives at Lawnwood Regional, including mine. I see you and watch you showing the love of Jesus. I have admired you, comforting families, especially those facing an unexpected death of a loved one and helping people to face tragedy. Obviously, loving and caring like Jesus would. I have seen you interact with us- the employees, advising us, ministering to us. You are so sweet and kind. I know God is pleased. I want you to know all the employees that I know-love you dearly. God bless you.
